The present invention discloses a method for hand-off processing in wireless Self-Backhaul transmission. The method includes: a primary base station buffers the downlink packets after receiving a hand-off request message from a Self-Backhaul base station; the primary base station sends the buffered downlink packets to a terminal through a target base station. The present invention also discloses a base station and a communication system. By using the present invention, the utilization rate of air interface resource and the data transmission reliability are improved, and the time delay in packet transmission is reduced.
