Patient data are measured with a remote adherent sensor device, and the treating physician is sent a notification in response to the measured data. The physician notification and a compliance statement are shown on a display visible to the physician. The data displayed with the notification can be limited, for example blocked, until the physician signs the compliance statement. For example, the physician may sign the compliance statement with an electronic signature to display the identity of the patient.
