PURPOSE: A rack support device for power steering, capable of reducing internal noise and vibration, is provided to prevent the increase of contact noise of a yoke plug and a support yoke. CONSTITUTION: A rack support device for power steering comprises a support yoke(13), a yoke plug(14) and an elastic member(17). The support yoke moves according to the hole of a housing(11) covering a rack bar(3) and a pinion(7). The support yoke supports the rack meshed with the pinion from backend. The yoke plug is screwed into a hole(11a) of the housing. The elastic member prevents the direct contact of the yoke plug and the support yoke.
