PURPOSE: A mold supporting device for the slab construction of a building and a building construction method using the same are provided to reduce construction period since an upper-layer slab can be constructed independently of the complete curing of a lower-layer slab. CONSTITUTION: A mold supporting device for the slab construction of a building comprises a plurality of couplers(100), a pair of hangers(110), a plurality of crossing trusses(120) and a slab mold. The coupler is detachably installed to the inter-layer section of both walls(2), which have been previously constructed. The hangers are placed on the upper part of the couplers side by side. The crossing trusses are horizontally installed to be crossed to the hangers. The slab mold is placed on the upper part of the crossing truss.
