PURPOSE: A steering column for a vehicle is provided to prevent bending in a vehicle crash since a tilt bolt is coupled on the central axis of a steering column. CONSTITUTION: A steering column for a vehicle comprises a ring bolt(240), a tilt bracket(225), and a plain nut. The ring bolt comprises a coupling unit in which a screw part is formed on the outer circumference of the cylindrical shape. The tilt bracket is formed with a tilt slit(227) in which the end of the plate is opened to couple the coupling unit. The plain nut comprises a settling part(251), a supporting part, and a nut part(253). The settling part is pressed to the outer surface of the tilt bracket. The supporting part is extended to the inner side of the settling part in the middle axis direction.
