PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten an axial dimension of a power transmission shaft mounted with a joint at an end of an intermediate shaft made of CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic).SOLUTION: The power transmission shaft comprises a hollow and cylindrical shaft S made of CFRP and a constant-velocity joint J1 formed with a male-type toothed portion 16 on a periphery of an outside joint member 10. The outside joint member 10 is press-fitted into the shaft S made of CFRP to thereby be coupled together.
