PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for slimming down related to the function of expression promotion for a heat-producing protein.SOLUTION: An expression promoter for a heat-producing protein includes a compound represented by formula (1), its isomer and/or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt. The composition for slimming down contains the expression promoter for a heat-producing protein. In formula (1), Rand Rindicate each independently a hydrogen atom or a 1-4C alkyl group; Rindicates a hydrogen atom, an alkoxy group having a 1-4C straight or branched alkyl chain or a straight-chained or branched alkyl or alkenyl group that may have its hydrogen atom or carbon atom substituted by a heteroatom; Rindicates a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group, an alkoxy group having a 1-4C alkyl chain or a pentose or hexose having an ether linkage; and Rindicates a hydrogen atom or a straight-chained, branched or cyclic alkyl group that may have its hydrogen atom or carbon atom substituted by a heteroatom. Rand Rmay bond with each other to form a ring. n represents an integer of 0 or 1. |
