PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system that continues communication services to a mobile terminal to be connected with a femtocell base station apparatus, even if congestion and a communication quality problem occur in a relay point of an IP (Internet Protocol) network.SOLUTION: The communication system has: a signal processor which is connected with a first IP network and a second IP network via a mobile communication network, converts a radio packet to be received from the mobile communication network into an IP packet to transmit the IP packet to the second IP network; and the femtocell base station apparatus which is connected with the mobile terminal and the first IP network, periodically examines whether a gateway device which connects the first IP network and the second IP network is normal, and when the gateway device is normal, when receiving the radio packet addressed to an information terminal connected with the second IP network from the mobile terminal, converts the radio packet into the IP packet to transmit the IP packet to the second IP network via the first IP network, and when the gateway device is not normal, transmits the radio packet addressed to the information terminal to be received from the mobile terminal to the signal processor via the first IP network and the mobile communication network. |
