PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire improving turning performance, and also further improving fatigue characteristics, by securing grounding performance, while enhancing rigidity in the circumferential direction.SOLUTION: This tire has a reinforcing layer 23 formed by spirally winding a steel wire rod in the substantially tire peripheral direction. The steel wire rod is composed of a marked stranded wire or a material of bundling the marked stranded wire or an twisted material, and an elongation in tension of 1,000 MPa in a rubber-attached state of the steel wire rod is 1.3% or more, and rupture strength T(N) and strength Ts(MPa) defined by T/S to the cross-sectional area S(m) of the steel wire roid, satisfy Ts≤3,000. |
