PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal mold for molding, which includes such a structure to easily, precisely and inexpensively achieve adjustment or fabricating of positions of a positioning pin to be attached to the metal mold and a positioning hole.SOLUTION: The metal mold for molding includes a movable mold and a fixed mold, which are contacted with each other on PL surfaces thereof when clamped, and is characterized in that the movable mold and the fixed mold are positioned by inserting the positioning pin, which is inserted/fixed to a hole formed on the PL surface of one of the movable mold and the fixed mold, into the positioning hole formed on the PL surface of the other thereof. The hole includes an almost rectangular shape and the cross section of a part, which is inserted into the hole, of the positioning pin includes also the almost rectangular shape. As a result, the metal mold for molding is provided, which includes the structure which easily, accurately and inexpensively allows adjustment or fabrication of the positioning pin to be attached to the metal mold and the positioning hole. |
