PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning material consisting of a laminated structure, excellent in safety, simple in manufacturing to decrease manufacturing costs and easy to conduct recycling disposal while satisfactorily securing cushioning and permeability.SOLUTION: The cushioning material includes plate core material 1 consisting of foam made of a synthetic resin and a covering material 2 consisting of solid cotton. The covering material 2 includes a front layer 20 for covering the front side of the core material 1 and a back layer 21 for covering a back side of the core material 1. Peripheral parts of the layers 20 and 21, projecting from the core material 1 to sides, are mutually heat-melted to integrally fold the core material 1 in the cover material 2. |
