PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assist traveling by a motor during a turning movement as well as during a forward movement and a backward movement of a carrier and improve serviceability.SOLUTION: On a mounting surface 10A of a front surface of a service vehicle body 10, a handle 21 is supported so as to freely rotate forward and backward and rightward and leftward. When the handle 21 is rotated forward and backward, the service vehicle body 10 is moved forward or backward. When the handle is rotated rightward and leftward, the service vehicle body is turned rightward and leftward. On a bottom surface of the body 10, a pair of right and left driving wheels 17L and 17R are provided which are driven by individual motors 18L and 18R. The carrier includes a detecting part 55 for detecting a forward and backward movement which detects a rotating direction and an amount of rotation when the handle 21 is rotated forward and backward, a detecting part 56 for detecting a right and left movement which detects a rotating direction and an amount of rotation when the handle 21 is rotated rightward and leftward, and a control part 57 for individually controlling the rotating direction and the rotating speed of the motors 18L and 18R respectively in accordance with detecting signals from both the parts 55 and 56. |
