PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving image playback apparatus which prevents the real time property from being spoiled in real-time moving image distribution using communication of which the line quality is secured.SOLUTION: The moving image playback apparatus (playback unit 3B) for playback moving image data transmitted from a communication unit (a network transmission unit 1B, a network 2, and a network receiving unit 3A) employing a protocol (TCP (Transmission Control Protocol), for example) securing the line quality includes a decision unit (not shown in the figure) for determining the presence of moving image data being played back upon arrival of one frame of moving image data from the communication unit and a thinning processing unit (not shown in the figure) for thinning at least part of moving image data of each frame which arrives from the communication unit in a period when the decision results of the decision unit doesn't show the absence. |
