PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform a suitable preservation treatment in accordance with a kind of deterioration of delivering property although it is difficult to detect application anomaly caused by the deterioration of delivering property of droplet with only the size and positions of application regions if the delivering property deteriorates when application is performed by spacing out a plurality of droplets in the same application region.SOLUTION: The device for determining the state of droplet application in an application device that delivers a plurality of droplets by providing time difference at different positions in the same application region on a surface to be coated including an application region measuring means that measures an application region after application is performed, an application region identification means that identifies a difference between a desired application region and an application region measured by the application region measuring means, an application state determination means that determines each droplet delivering state with the application region measuring means and the application state determination means, and a maintenance section that performs a maintenance over an ink jet head, and performing a preservation operation by selecting a kind of maintenance over the ink jet head based on the determination results in the application state determination means, is provided. |
