PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the cutting angle of a cutting blade since the cutting angle is fixed and cannot be changed easily in a conventional flat cutting and sewing device, and tatami manufactures request for change of the cutting angle of a tatami base in consideration of the finish depending on the tatami to manufacture.SOLUTION: The flat cutting and sewing device for flat cutting and sewing of a tatami edge and a tatami edge base paper to the tatami base is provided with: an angle adjusting base where the cutting blade and a drive source for driving the cutting source are installed; and a guide member which supports the angle adjusting base. The angle adjusting base is provided so as to be capable of rotating with respect to a rotation center line passing through a point matching the upper surface position of the tatami to be cut with the cutting blade with respect to a guide plate. The rotation center line is positioned horizontally at a right angle to the width direction of the tatami in which the flat cutting and sewing device moves while removing crease. Therefore, while the cutting position of the upper surface of the tatami to be cut with the cutting blade installed on the angle adjusting base is fixed, the angle can be adjusted. |
