PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress leak of working oil during stoppage of an internal combustion engine while surely supplying the working oil to a hydraulic lash adjuster by a simple structure.SOLUTION: An oil feeding path 59 is provided to communicate with the lash adjuster from the lower side of the lash adjuster, and a check valve 61 which allows the flow of working oil to the lash adjuster but arrests the flow of working oil from the lash adjuster is provided in the middle of the oil feeding path 59. The check valve 61 includes a ball 65 provided to be displaceable within a diameter extended portion 63, an orifice 67 provided on a gasket 16, and a seat portion 69 the ball 65 is seated when the flow of working oil to the lash adjuster is permitted. |
