PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing metal particles, in which metal particles are efficiently classified depending on the composition.SOLUTION: The method for producing metal particles includes a step S40 where metal particles and an adsorbent are introduced into a solvent, and are stirred, and a step S50 where the adsorbent is separated from the solvent. The metal particles include a first metal such as platinum. The adsorbent is preferably porous one such as silica gel, and has organic matter on the surface thereof. The organic matter includes either a selective functional group being a functional group having selectivity with respect to the first metal or a nonselective functional group being a functional group having nonselectivity with respect to the first metal. |
