A network handover method, a communication system and associated devices are disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention to implement the handover between a WiFi network and a WiMAX network. The method in the embodiments of the present invention includes: a user terminal determines a target network access point and acquires a tunnel destination address; according to said tunnel destination address, a signaling transmission tunnel is established between said user terminal and said target network access point through the present network; the user terminal implements the access network operation with the target network access point through the signaling transmission tunnel. A communication system and associated devices are provided in the embodiments of the present invention. The handover between a WiFi network and a WiMAX network is implemented in the embodiments of the present invention.
