LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the properties of a storage capacitor while increasing a pixel aperture ratio. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of data lines and a plurality of gate lines define a plurality of pixel areas arranged on an X-Y matrix. A plurality of common lines is in parallel with the data lines. The first and second pixel electrodes are prepared in each pixel area. A pixel driving circuit includes a switching transistor and a plurality of storage capacitors in each pixel area.
