PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relate to an air quality restoring method utilizing copper relatively inexpensive and low in toxic potential and a cuprate catalyst, and particularly, to provide promoting effects utilizing copper and the cuprate catalyst in reduction and converting methods effective for carbon dioxide and a method of generating hydrogen from an aqueous solution, in which an air quality improvement and air quality purification can be sufficiently expected.SOLUTION: In the air quality restoring method, carbon dioxide is dissolved in an aqueous solution solvent, and copper or the cuprate catalyst is suspended in the aqueous solution solvent in which the carbon dioxide is dissolved. An electrode is inserted into the suspended solution to electrolytically reduce the carbon dioxide. |
