PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of a user at the time of transmitting data stored in a portable information device to an image forming device and processing the data.SOLUTION: The image forming device communicates with the portable information device by radio communication. The image forming device determines whether the data received from the portable information device are data of an e-mail format or not. When the image forming device determines that the data are e-mail format data, it displays a screen for letting the user choose to perform image-forming of the mail text or image-forming of the attached file. When the image forming device determines that the data are not e-mail format data, it displays a setting screen for setting image-forming conditions according to reception of the data.
