PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure litter flow rate, by using all litter flowing due to the flow of the water of a river as a target.SOLUTION: This litter flow rate measurement method includes a step (S1) for measuring flow litter rate Lf, by counting litters floating on a water surface and passing through and litters which are to be captured by a means for capturing and collecting litters passing through, while sinking under water and passing through; a step (S2) for measuring an overall photographic litter value La by counting a litter passing, while floating on the water surface being photographed in an image to be obtained by a photographic means, and for measuring a partial photographic litter value Lp by counting the litters passing, while floating on the water surface to be captured by the litter-capturing and collecting means; and a step (S3) for calculating a total litter value L by counting the litter passing on the water surface and under water according to the relation: L=Lf×La/Lp. |
