PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for controlling the revolving speed of an engine for an industrial vehicle capable of reducing a fuel consumption amount and a load on a brake part.SOLUTION: This apparatus for controlling the revolving speed of an engine for an industrial vehicle is constituted to suppress an uppermost limit of the revolving speed of an engine 1 when detecting approach to an object for approach. Consequently, the apparatus prevents the occurrence of pitching accompanying with clutch letting-out without letting out the clutch when approaching a dump truck or the like for loading sediment or the like on it to make movement of a wheel loader 100 smooth and reduce power loss in a torque converter 2 caused by no clutch letting-out and load on the brake part 5a.
