PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid rocket engine, which increases combustion efficiency by increasing the quantity of heat to solid fuel by combustion gas passing through a port and promoting the degree of mixing of vaporized solid fuel with oxidizer.SOLUTION: The hybrid rocket engine includes: an oxidizer; a solid fuel 3 provided with a gas flow passage 5 for passing combustion gas burnt with the oxidizer; and a nozzle for injecting the combustion gas guided through the gas flow passage 5. A wall part forming the gas flow passage 5 is subjected to surface treatments 10a and 10b to increase the surface area. |
