PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a labeler which surely releases even a relatively thin pressure-sensitive adhesive label and surely sticks the pressure-sensitive adhesive label at a specified position of a body to be stuck.SOLUTION: The labeler has a releasing unit 4 for releasing a pressure-sensitive adhesive label 3 from a releasing paper 2 of a pressure-sensitive adhesive label supplying strip 1 on which a plurality of the pressure-sensitive adhesive labels 3 are stuck in a line in the longitudinal direction on the strip of releasing paper 2. The releasing unit 4 has a first releasing part 41 in which an intermediate region 2M in the width direction of the releasing paper 2 other than the left and right regions 2L and 2R in the width direction of the releasing paper 2 is reversed, and the intermediate region 2M of the releasing paper 2 is released in the longitudinal direction from the pressure-sensitive adhesive label 3 while the left and right side ends of the pressure-sensitive adhesive label 3 are stuck on the left and right regions 2L and 2R of the releasing paper 2 as they are, and a second releasing part in which the left and right regions 2L and 2R of the releasing paper 2 are respectively released from the pressure-sensitive adhesive label 3 after the intermediate region 2M of the releasing paper 2 is released.
