PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of reducing discharge of DME to the atmosphere while preventing knocking in starting of an engine.SOLUTION: The method for controlling stoppage of reduction of blow-by gas in starting for an engine including a blow-by gas line for sucking blow-by gas containing vapor of DME to an air suction port and a release line for releasing the blow-by gas to the atmosphere includes: a discharge process (steps S2 and S3) for closing, prior to start of the engine, the blow-by gas line and opening the release line; and a reduction process (steps S6 and S7) for opening, after starting the engine (steps S4 and S5), the blow-by gas line and closing the release line. While the engine is stopped except the discharge process (steps S2 and S3), the blow-by gas line and the release line are closed. |
