PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monofilament suitable for a high mesh gauze woven fabric for an industrial material filter.SOLUTION: The monofilament comprising a polyester having a main repeating unit of ethylene naphthalate, is provided in which the polymer is a monofilament for the industrial material filter gauze improved with fiber decrease in its weaving process by using a polymer composition containing 0.1 to 300 millimole% specific phosphorus compound based on the number of moles of dicarboxylic acid constituting the polymer. |
