PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve, which can be applied to an engine without impairing the mountability on the engine by providing a strainer on a fuel injection valve body while preventing increase in the overall size of the fuel injection valve.SOLUTION: In the fuel injection valve 20, a fuel supply passage is formed in a nozzle holder 21 so as to be substantially parallel to the axial direction of the nozzle holder 21, a fuel inlet part to be connected to the fuel supply passage is formed so as to be substantially orthogonal to the axial direction of the nozzle holder 21, and the strainer 40 is provided on the fuel supply passage. The nozzle holder 21 is divided into a plurality of split bodies 22 and 23, a strainer mounting hole 22e is bored from a parting face 22g of the split bodies 22 and 23 to the fuel supply passage, and the strainer 40 is charged to the strainer mounting hole 22e. |
