<p>A pilot-based time offset estimation apparatus and method are provided by the present invention. The time offset estimation apparatus includes: a pilot bit channel estimation module, used for calculating, according to received frequency domain demodulation reference symbols and local frequency domain demodulation reference symbols, to acquire pilot bit frequency domain channel estimation values of a target user,; and a time offset estimation module, used for employing the pilot bit channel estimation values on each sub-carrier to perform the time offset estimation for each target user respectively. The invention performs time offset estimation for multiple users based on received pilot sequences, provides more accurate measurement results for time offset compensation and time offset reporting, and can reduce the effect of the time offset on the receiver performance.</p> |
