PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a USB connector which can detect a designated distance on the connector and can make a housing firmly fix on an insulating body.SOLUTION: The electric connector has a fixing member with the insulating body, and a plurality of conductive terminals firmly fixed to the insulating body. The insulating body has a body including a base surface, a tongue plate projecting forward from the body, a support plate substantially parallel with the tongue plate, and a fitting groove formed between the base surface of the body and the support plate. An opening penetrating upper and lower surfaces of the support plate and communicated with the fitting groove is formed on the support plate, and the base surface of the body is exposed by the opening. |
