PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ink for inkjet recording which achieves improved fixability and high image density, causes little color bleed and feathering and is excellent in scratch resistance, glossiness and marker-proof property, and to provide a set of the ink and a pre-treatment liquid and inkjet recording method using the set.SOLUTION: (1) The ink set for inkjet recording includes: the ink for inkjet recording including water, a water soluble organic solvent, a surfactant, a pigment and a water soluble resin and including a silanol modified polyvinyl alcohol as the water soluble resin; and the pre-treatment liquid including a cationic component. (2) The inkjet recording method is carried out by applying, by an inkjet method, the pre-treatment liquid including the cationic component onto a medium for which recording is performed and after that, printing using the ink for inkjet recording which includes water, the water soluble organic solvent, the surfactant, the pigment and the water soluble resin and includes a silanol modified polyvinyl alcohol as the water soluble resin. |
