PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication module which can have many electric circuit components, constituting a peripheral circuit, packaged together with a photoelectric element, and the size and cost of which can be easily reduced.SOLUTION: A plurality of conductive plates 30 are extended from a translucent holding portion 10 holding the photoelectric element, a plurality of electric circuit components are connected to the conductive plates 30, and the conductive plates 30 extended from the translucent holding portion 10 are bent and stored in a housing. At this time, the conductive plates 30 extended from the translucent holding portion 10 are coupled at two places in the extending direction by coupling fixation portions 41 and 42 made of non-conductive synthetic resin in a direction crossing the extending direction, the electric circuit components are mounted between the two coupling fixation portions 41 and 42, and the conductive plates 30 are bent in the outside of the two coupling fixation portions 41 and 42.
