PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an appropriate superimposed image without displacement even if the distance between two imaging systems and an observed part is changed.SOLUTION: The image of the same subject is captured by a first imaging means and a second imaging means disposed separately from the first imaging means. First areas (x1 and x2) within a first image captured by the first imaging means are acquired, and second areas (x3 and x4) within a second image captured by the second imaging means are acquired. Then, the distance information between an optical system in the first imaging means or second imaging means and the subject is acquired, and first corrected areas (x1' and x2') and second corrected areas (x3' and x4') are acquired by correcting the first areas and second areas based on the change of the distance information. Then, partial images within these corrected areas are superimposed on each other to generate the superimposed image. |
