PURPOSE: A solar cell and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the efficiency of the solar cell by improving the step-coverage of a buffer layer formed on a light absorbent layer. CONSTITUTION: A backside electrode layer(200) is formed on the upper side of a substrate. A light absorbent layer is formed on the backside electrode layer. The surface roughness of the light absorbent layer is between 0.01 and 0.05um. A buffer layer is uniformly formed on the upper side of light absorbent layer. The thickness of the buffer layer is between 50 and 100nm. A front-side electrode layer is formed on the buffer layer. |
