The present invention relates to a device (1) for microwave treatment of grain, which device (1) comprises a tubular element (2), which extends along a longitudinal direction, a core element (3), which is arranged at least partly inside the tubular element (2) such that a duct (5) arranged to receive a flow of grain in said longitudinal direction is formed between the tubular element (2) and the core element (3), the core element (3) being of cylindrical shape along said duct (5), and at least one microwave-generating unit (4) for microwave treatment of the flow of grain, which microwave-generating unit (4) is arranged outside the duct (5). The invention also concerns a method for microwave treatment of grain. |
