Electric motor with frequency converter

摘要

The electric motor includes a frequency converter connected in series for the control of its number of revolutions, whereby its signal- and power circuitry is housed in a casing which forms a structural unit with the electric motor. The casing (6) of the frequency converter (7) is equipped with a heat sink (8, 8'), is thermally decoupled from the electric motor (1), and is fixed to the motor over a conclusion element which receives an intermediate part (5) replacing a connection box. The casing of the frequency converter towers above the intermediate part in longitudinal direction, and the heat sink is arranged underneath the casing, at the side of the intermediate part.
