The panel (1) has a retainer for retaining a functional sealing (2) i.e. window trap sealing, where the panel is fixedly attached to a sealing lip at an edge side. The sealing lip is functionally separated from a position of the functional sealing, and optically seals an edge region of the functional sealing. The sealing lip bridges a gap between an edge of the panel and a directly adjacent outer surface of a vehicle. The sealing lip is flexibly connected with the functional sealing, such that the false position of the functional sealing does not affect a position of the sealing lip.
