The transmission device (10) has transmission parts (12, 18) connected with respective shaft sections. One transmission pat (18) includes transmission bodies (20, 22, 24) axially displaceable in one of axial openings of a hollow profile. Each body has transmission surfaces running in a radial direction. Each surface lies opposite to one of radially running walls (16) of the profile. A functional layer arrangement supporting axial relative movement between the profile and the body is provided between the walls and the surfaces. A rubber layer of the arrangement is connected to a plastic layer.
