<p>The invention relates to a method for holding poikilothermic poultry and a device intended in particular to carry out this method. The poikilothermic poultry is held in a climate chamber, the temperature of which is controlled to a predetermined temperature. The poikilothermic poultry is also fed in this climate chamber which is controlled to the predetermined temperature. Furthermore, the poikilothermic poultry in this climate chamber can be exposed to light, such as artificial light. Furthermore, according to the method it is possible for the poikilothermic poultry to be transported from a hatchery to a fattening farm while it is being held in this climate chamber which is controlled at the predetermined temperature.</p> |
