The method involves compressing a cooling medium by a controlled compressor provided with a cooling cycle and expanding the cooling medium by an expansion element. The expanded cooling medium passes the evaporator for cooling, which finds the air fed in the inner space of the vehicle. The evaporator temperature controller controls the target value of temperature of the air leaving the evaporator by changing the compression of the cooling medium and this control is affected by the operating conditions of the cooling cycle describing variable disturbances.
