The device has a tubular body (1) provided with a boundary recess (15) at an upper end. A transverse wall (2) divides an inner space of the tubular body into an inlet chamber (11) and an outlet chamber (12) and exhibits a passage (13) as a connector between the chambers at a lower end of the transverse wall. A cover wall (3) is provided with an inlet recess (14) and exceeds the circumference of the tubular body. The cover wall is connected with an upper edge of the tubular body under freeing of the recess. A base wall (4) closes the tubular body downwards. An independent claim is also included for an odor closure device-counter piece that is provided at a lightwell.
