[Class 132 (ii).] The shaft of a golf club or hockey stick is formed from two pieces of wood, a, b, the joint f between which is covered by capping pieces e. One or more metal reinforcements d may be embedded in the pieces a, b, as shown in Fig. 2, and may be secured thereto by glue or by pins. The end of the shaft may be bound by a metal ring.</p> |
