CORE-CATCHER WITH UNIFIED COOLING WATER FLOW PATH

摘要

PURPOSE: A core catcher with an integrated cooling path of a piloti structure is provided to protect a cooling path structure and a body container from a reactor core melt by forming a heat resistant layer on the upper surface of the body container. CONSTITUTION: A core catcher comprises a body container(110), a lower structure(120) and a plurality of support stands(130). The body container is arranged under the reactor pressure container to collect the reactor core melt. A cooling path(101) is formed between the lower structure and the lower surface of the body container to remove the heat from the reactor core melt. A plurality of support stands has a piloti structure. A plurality of support stands are arranged between the lower surface of the body container and the upper surface of the lower structure.
