<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital data receiver capable of simply switching video data in a plurality of kinds of receiving services, depending on the circumstances. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The digital data receiver (102) includes a first video data generating section (53) for outputting first video data associated with a first service from the broadcast wave of a particular channel; a second video data generating section (54) for outputting second video data, associated with a second service from the broadcast wave of the particular channel; an audio data generating section (56) for outputting the audio data, associated with the second service from the broadcast wave of the particular channel; and a switching section (80) for outputting either of the first and second video data.
