<p>An electrical connector assembly (1) comprises a socket (2) having a slot (3) and a first latch member (4) disposed at one side of the slot (3). A plug (5) is inserted into the slot (3) of the socket (2), the plug (5) being provided with a second latch member (6) corresponding to the first latch member (4) of the socket (2). A sliding slot (13) is disposed on the second latch member (6) corresponding to the first latch member (4) of the socket (2), and a fastener (7) is disposed on the second latch member (6) of the plug (5). When the plug (5) is inserted into the socket (2), the fastener (7) can be moved to connect the first and second latch members (4, 6) to fasten together the plug (5) and socket (2), and the fastener (7) can also be moved along the sliding slot (13) in a direction away from the first latch member (4) to unfasten the plug (5) and the socket (2).</p> |
