<p>The device has an assigning device (105) assigning two groups of sub-carriers to two network subscriber signals (101, 103) or sections of the network subscriber signal (103). A modulating device (107) modulates one of the signals (101) on one of the groups using inverse Fourier-transformation or modulates the former signal (101) and the section on the former group using the transformation to receive a multi-carrier signal. The modulating device modulates the other signal (103) or the section of the signal on the other group using the transformation to receive another multi-carrier signal. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for modulating network subscriber signals according to orthogonal frequency division multiplexing modulation scheme (2) a method for receiving a multi-carrier signal (3) a computer program comprising a program code for implementing a method for modulating network subscriber signals according to orthogonal frequency division multiplexing modulation scheme when the program is implemented in a computer.</p> |
