The valve has a hand wheel (2) having on its underside a pin (21) with external teeth (22), and a threaded sleeve (3) having internal teeth (23) engaging the external teeth. The teeth transmit the rotary movement of hand wheel to the threaded sleeve, and provide a lifting movement between the hand wheel and threaded sleeve. The threaded sleeve is actuated by the hand wheel for generating a variable closing force of a valve disk (6) having a settable closing force. The valve shaft extends within the threaded sleeve towards the hand wheel and connected to the valve disk. A valve shaft (5) is connected to the hand wheel such that the valve shaft follows the lifting movement of the hand wheel.
