A packaged food product (10), for microwave heating, comprises a portion (12) of flour-based oven-baked food product, in particular pizza or focaccia, a pack (30) containing the portion (12) of food product, and a sheet (40) of susceptor material housed inside the pack. The food product portion (12) is in a parbaked condition and has substantially uniform parbaking characteristics, that is to say, substantially uniform moisture and structure, from the outer edge towards the centre of the portion.
