PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for transmitting and receiving control information for a relay device are provided to efficiently receive control information, thereby increasing communication performance. CONSTITUTION: A base station transmits a plurality of R-PDCCH(Relay-Physical Downlink Control CHannel)s to a relay device. Control information for the relay device is sent through a plurality of R-PDCCHs. The R-PDCCHs are multiplexed based on a TDM type. The R-PDCCHs are transmitted from the same RB(Resource Block)s respectively through continuous OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex) symbols according to a previously set rule.
