PURPOSE: A dam structure with a water gate for sediment purification is provided to discharge sediments by opening a drain hole when necessary, thereby removing the sediments before decomposition. CONSTITUTION: A dam structure with a water gate for sediment purification comprises a dam(10), a water fall part(20), and a gabion part(30). The dam comprises a plurality of discharge paths(11) and a drain hole opening part(14) which is installed in the inlet of a drain hole(13) in order to open and close the drain hole. The water fall part is installed in the discharge side of the dam so that the water discharged from the discharge paths is dropped. A raised part(22) is formed on a side of the water fall part in order to reduce the flow rate of the water. The gabion part is installed in one side of the water fall part. |
